I had never even considered reading Harry/Liam before but YOU WROTE IT and I will read anything you write and gah I loved this so freaking much. I must confess that, probably because of all my Harry/Louis tinhatting (or maybe because I like non-monogamous relationships), my favorite thing about it was the whole Harry/Louis dynamic and the "we'll work something out" in the end, as well as Liam worrying about his relationship with Danielle. I mean, that was my favorite thing as an added detail to the BRILLIANT Harry/Liam dynamic you wrote, because, gosh, I feel like it captured both of them so perfectly well, it's uncanny.

Also, I started cracking up right on the first line because this - It's not a sexual thing. It's really not. Louis says it is, but Louis can find a hidden sexual meaning in anything. He's like Freud in stripes and braces. - this is utter brilliance.

Yaaay thank you. ♥ Yeah, I really didn't want to just write Danielle or Louis out of the whole thing even though that might've been easier, but I struggled with how to write their involvement because I couldn't quite see Liam and Danielle having a completely open relationship and it seemed odd to have Harry and Louis just having casual sex without being in love. I'm really glad you thought I handled that well, and that you thought Harry and Liam's dynamic was right, yay!

Oh my god, yes, this is amazing. I really, really love the characterisation of Liam and Harry here, how they don't click exactly the same way like all of the others do but it's not for a lack of trying or liking each other, they're just a bit different. Ugh, it was really hot too.

And also Louis was flawless, omg.

Thank you so much. ♥ Yeah, I think that's how I see them for the most part - there is a definite tension there sometimes that I believe is brought on by Louis in one way or another, but I think underneath everything they're just different and don't quite click, and maybe it wouldn't even be noticeable if it weren't for the ease of all the other friendships in the group.

THIS IS SO, SO GOOD. You completely nailed their dynamic, and I honestly can't even tell what parts you were unsure about (if you still are) because it's all so perfect. You're basically a magician, because you KNOW how hard I tinhat Harry/Louis, and you still made this into something I can actually see happening. LOUIS WAS SO PERFECT THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE THING. I mean I wouldn't say he was my favorite part because Harry and Liam and their relationship AND THE SEX, YEAH were all so amazing, but he really just slipped into the story seamlessly. And you managed to get in some believable Harry/Louis without taking away from Lirry at all (HARRY HATING THAT LOUIS WAS RIGHT K';;GRGHFDLKFJHA YES). Annnnd the little bit of Danielle was perfect, too. YOU ARE PERFECT.

OK DA BEST PARTS IMO:

There's a surefire topic that always Liam feel awkward, and that's sex. It seems to be the only thing Harry can hold over him, the only way to get him to stammer and blush and lose his usual perfect composure. And Harry takes advantage of that, talking

Especially to admit it to Harry, when he still feels like this could just be some elaborate prank and Harry might snatch this all away in a second and cry victory, claim he's won whatever game they've been playing.
You totally nailed their weird competitive dynamic here. And it's perfect because Harry WAS playing a game this whole time, so it's a completely rational fear for Liam to have because he wasn't privy to Harry's AHA! I DO WANT TO FUCK HIM moment (which btw was also so well-written).

It feels good, curled under him like this-Harry's technically taller than him but it doesn't feel like it now. Liam always has a way of making him feel small, and young, and maybe that's partly why Harry's always doing whatever he can to get one up on him, but right now he doesn't care about that, right now he likes it, wants Liam to show him how strong he is and fuck him really hard.AGAIN WITH THE SIZE AND THE STRENGTH AND THE SLIGHT

like he's half unwilling and half just totally confused and half trying really hard not to get turned on. Ok I realize that's 3 halves but you know what I mean - hahahaha YES. Omg, and I swear ever since you mentioned how he has to EXPECT it by now I just can't get that out of my head because you're so right, I mean I know he's an innocent puppy but it's become SUCH a pattern that he has to expect it by now.
