I am thinking of starting a scientific organization in jacksonville. Basically a group of people who meet together to discuss different theories (either of their own, or by others), argue the facts, and perhaps conduct field experiments

Unfortunately, even around here, such things are hard to find. Some of the people I had that kind of friendship are still up to the same old tricks, and the same old place (Denny's), which is partly why I'm not a part of it any more.

Not to mention that I haven't gotten out of bed much in the last month. Heh.

I'd join it if I were there or if I knew of one here
that really sounds like a great idea too...people have meetings like that for bible study and artists and writers used to get together to challenge and push each other like that, it makes perfect sense for scientists and theoreticians

just tell me where to meet... preferably the landing because they have wireless internet. though I'm all for getting some coffee somewhere and discussing quantum coherence over a macroscopic region of space and time. I am developing a new theory of the matter/antimatter relationship using the superstring theory. I just haven't done the math for any of it... no one understands me so I'm kind of a loner. I live and work in middleburg at a computer store and at a video store in orange park, but ya know einey was a patent clerk so... reply to my LJ or email me @livejournal.com and I'll try to get some other people involved. that makes me excited for the first time in a while =)
