So, the snow was pretty. It's the most we've had in a very long time. But the ice and no power were not so fun. The power went out at Ingles Sunday night at 9 and we didn't get it back until about 5:30 the next afternoon. I had to take Ben to the doctor yesterday. He's pretty congested. It's not too bad I guess. I just think it's stupid that they can't give him anything for it. They said they don't make decongestants for children under 2 anymore. And Dr. Martin won't give him antibiotics since his lungs are fine (no pneumonia or anything). I finally had to go back to work. It hasn't been too bad. I just miss spending all day with Ben. =/

We took Ben to the doctor on Tuesday for his 2 month check up. He's doing good. He weighs 9 lbs 1 oz and he's 21 inches long. She said his heart rate was nice and relaxed. The only thing I didn't like about the visit were the vaccines. He took the oral rotavirus okay. But as soon as she stuck the first shot in his leg he screamed. It almost made me ( Read more... )

Apparently I'm a bitch. I guess I didn't get the memo that says other people get to decide things that are clearly my place and right to decide myself. Happy New Year to me.

Ben's first doctor's appointment was today. He's doing so well!! He weighs 5lbs 4oz and he's 17 1/2 inches long. I really like Dr. Martin. We did have to get his Newborn Screen done again though because the hospital didn't get enought blood for the first one.
