I just found out something that makes me really angry. Gets my feminist blood totally boiling. Unilever is a huge corporation that owns lots of sub-companies. Including both Dove and Axe. It is bitterly cold today. 1 whole degree. It's the sort of cold where if there's any wind at all it cuts right through you. I am not at all suited for these sorts of temperatures. Every inch of my skin is dry and wind chapped. I hate when it feels almost impossible to get warm ( Read more... )

My four-day weekend evaporated. How does that happen?

School is already kicking my rear end this semester. Spanish in particular.

I'll be camping this weekend at the Hoosier National Forest. I'm looking forward to hiking, fresh air, and a mini escape from reality.

So yesterday my class went to the Indiana State Museum to see the Radical Lace and Subversive Knitting exhibit. Here are some of my favorite parts.

I heard about the death of LeRoi Moore yesterday (sax player for the Dave Matthews Band). My favorite local radio station did a very tasteful tribute to him yesterday morning and played #34 as they were reading the local news. It's such a sad thing.

It was nice of GenCon to put up signs this year. Usually I have no clue it's going on until I almost hit some jedi/fairy/superhero who's illegally crossing the street into oncoming traffic.
