That is the single clearest and smartest statement about tax inequality for the very wealthy I have ever heard. Wow. Thanks!

It has greatly puzzled me why there is a belief that wealth = job creation. Demand resulting in profit greater than the cost of the new employee = job creation, and that's pretty much the beginning and end of it.

You're alive, too! When your birthday rolled around I left you a celebratory voicemail, but I wasn't even sure it was still your number. I miss you. God knows why--it's not as if we've actually seen each other more than 15-20 times in the last decade (and oh holy hell it HAS been that long hasn't it...) but I miss you anyway. :)
