How strange to be awake in a Boston hotel and hear of the death of the senior senator from Massachusetts

Ted Kennedy was such a unique, remarkable voice, and we shall not soon see his like again.

Oh, and all the states except for (I think) Idaho, Oklahoma and (I'm sure) Alaska, Hawaii -- though this is counting driving through for some states. And I may have Idaho and Oklahoma.

Mostly on this continent and a bit around Europe, but with Japan and Venezuela thrown in for good measure. I gotta get out more.

I just saw a commercial for skittles where a guy picks up skittles using his extremely long beard and feeds them to someone who's giving him a job interview. Bizarre, and quite disturbing.
