I rode the trail yesterday, something I've wanted to do for a long time. I would have loved to ride with Keith, as it's a really nice trail, downhill going out at 22mph+ but uphill (12mph) back. Made it to 18 miles last night. That's 2 hours 45 minutes of running. Was a nice scenic route with a long gradual uphill then a long, much appreciated downhill. The last 3 miles were pretty painful, the legs just ache all over at that point ( Read more... )

Jade's Guinea pig Spike was killed last week by Keith's dog. Poor poor Spike :( The dog came in when the door was left open and proceeded to play with the poor piggie! :( By the time we figured it out, it was too late. Damn it! I hate seeing my kids in pain more than anything ( Read more... )

Joey tells me he's moving to Virgina with his homeless family. He says there's nothing here for him. They are leaving on Saturday. I'm torn here. I have a few choices...I need to pray about it.

Just got done running 14 miles. Took me 2.5 hours. I just might make it to the marathon after all. My knee hurts, but not horribly.
