I just remembered.....what ever happened to Day by Day Calendar after they sold it? Did they begin setup for this holiday season, did it get merged into another company and re-branded, etc....?

Bitter, are we?

I hated the store at the end, and corporate management most of all.
Having to sell EGC's to customers was the worst (that, and the card).

But when you where at the Day By Day calendar kiosk, you were your own boss (more or less). We read. We texted. We chatted on the phone.

Don't give up the ship. I know it's tough because we all lost. But I have a plan and although the "Borders" brand is now sold to Barnes and Noble, the Borders spirit will live on when we begin anew and rise like a Phoenix, and I don't mean a Phoenix store.

We have a plan me, Jim Fering, Art Keeney, Julio, Mary, have a plan. You'll want to be part of it. Stay tuned. From what I hear, even Ron wants in.

Why are young people so fixated with death? Do they think the old folks really care that much about it? Get over it. When you're dead, you don't have to work at some sweatshop like Borders.

Maybe they're fixated on it because it is the end of consciousness, the END OF LIFE, you idiot. The only people who don't care are people who have been programmed by their own lifelong failures to not care about much of anything in life. And as far as sweatshops go, Borders was Shangrila. You ever tour the factories of Brazil and Southeast Asia much? Or even the warehouses of Amazon?
