Here's the Google Books link if you want to check it out: http://books.google.com/books?id=L_1SJetHPeQC&lpg=PA1&pg=PA7#v=onepage&q&f=false

Without more to see I'm gonna wait for denardo's review - seem to be some typography issues in the online copy.

I think it's great you wrote a book and all BUT that being said-you didn't really work for Borders to truly understand the downfall.

I hope someday a true veteran will write a book.

I wholeheartedly agree that a true veteran should write one! I did my best with what I had and it is a collaborative work that has contributions from many of the employees who had been there much longer than me. I hope you check it out, even if it's not from a completely veteran perspective.

Maybe you should write one!! :) I hope you will.

Is there anywhere I can download this for free to read on my Kobo?

You worked since June 2011? I can't see how you can write a book about a company you barely worked for. It's like writing a book about Studio 54 after getting raided by the IRS. It's like writing a book about the Titanic from the standpoint of someone stuck in the engine room and drowning. It's like a book about the Hindenburg starting with, "Oh god, I'm on fire!"

Haha I see what you're sayin' Gordon, but I did my best to include the perspectives of people who had been there much longer than me! It's a collaborative work so, it does have multiple perspectives.

There isn't a way to get it onto Kobo at this time. You can get a limited one on Google Books.

I hope you'll check it out! I was well aware of my position as a rookie, but I tried my best to do the story, of liquidation at least, justice. Maybe someone else will have to come along and write the prequel. Maybe you!
