Xigbar? Have you heard anything from Larxene? She was supposed to come visit yesterday and didn't show up. Now her phone isn't even working... is everything okay?
Hey Xig, it's me. First off, your answer machine message is just... I never commented on it before, but it's kinda weird...
Second thing is our findings. We've been using the gutted laptop as a starting point and combing through that area of town, but whoever it is is leaving absolutely nothing to chance: no clues, no hints, nothing. Whoever it is definitely doesn't want to be found. Probably not an amateur abductor, then.
Anyway, we're still looking. Get back to me as soon as you get this to let me know how you're doing and whether you've turned up anything yourself.
You really need to start picking up your phone when people actually call. You know, they might have something important to tell you.
But I don't. I don't know where to start. I'm slowly losing my mind and this beast is more than ready to break out of here and tear through this whole city looking for her. Even our friendly neighborhood espionage agent, the same one setting up residence in my living room until we find Larxene because he doesn't trust me to not lose myself, is having trouble even finding a place to start.
A-after thinking about all of what was said, though... ... I think I may know who's responsible. At least, I've narrowed it down to two groups that I know of. It could be someone else, but... I've got my guesses.
That should make negotiation easier, right?
[sigh]
Speaking of negotiation, Daniel called an old friend. And some new friends, as well. We've got two five-star negotiators on our side if we need them. And half the local SWAT team.

Hey, I got to my phone literally two seconds after it stopped ringing! You're not answering either!
Well, who do you think it could be? I know I'm going to Dubai in a couple of days, so I'm handing over whatever I have from what my boys have got to someone else, but if you have ideas now, we can get to looking and narrowing places down.
And there's a local SWAT team? I didn't think they were policed like that here... their regular cops barely do anything for anyone as it is. And I'm still tripping over the fact that you called a SWAT team in for this...
I'm waiting on a call from Galen. He's leading a team out north and he's due to call me back any second. Call me back in five, if I don't answer, just leave a message.

Xigbar, I found this number and decided to inform you that the pair of us are leaving the country tomorrow morning. Think you can remain patient until we get back~? Pass the time by thinking of the imaginative ways in which I could possibly kill you. You'll be amazed at how fast time can fly when you think about death...
Re: [Text Message Reply]blackstar_keyJuly 31 2009, 23:47:13 UTC
I'd rather not.
Oh Xigbar, I'm disappointed. I thought you a far stronger man. It seems I was mistaken. I'll pass this on to your woman's captors. They're bound to get a laugh out of your weakness.

Sleeps. Drugged by the scar-faced. Will be back soon.
Mind is mine for now, body to follow.
Ansem, a fool. Riku, a man. Will talk to him. Not a fool. Her Prettiness... bad choice. Is territorial, will defend and fight. Won't back down. I will neither.

Xig? Hey, it's me...
I'm leaving town for a while. Don't tell anyone, especially not Riku. I'm going to Dubai. He insists that he can do this alone, but I don't want him to be alone.
[Voice Mail Reply]ixarms_reloadxiAugust 4 2009, 01:41:55 UTC
Sounds like a good idea. You've got someone to feed your pets? 'cause I could do it. It'd be one more thing to keep my mind off all this shit.
But before you go... he asked me not to do it and by my Hippocratic oath, I can't... but you can and I have the feeling you should... can you meet me at work to sign a paper or two? Depending on how far our opponents' figurative arms reach, it may or may not be the deciding factor in whether he's allowed to live when he gets to the hospital.
I'll be okay, I think. But watch yourself, alright? I don't want another loved one getting caught up and threatened in all of this.
[Voice Mail Reply]h2o_dancerAugust 4 2009, 01:47:34 UTC
Would you? I'll meet you somewhere to drop off the key and the alarm code. I'm locking up when I leave and while Riku's boys won't like it, they'll get over it.
What kind of papers? If it means he'll live I'll sign them, but not until you tell me what they are....
I'll be careful. I just want to be with him right now...
Re: [Voice Mail Reply]ixarms_reloadxiAugust 4 2009, 01:56:29 UTC
Sure thing. I miss having a dog around the house, anyway. It's lonely without a pair of big brown eyes looking up at you when he knows you're feeling bad and wants permission to jump on the couch and lick your face.
It's called a DNR override. Your dad worked trauma, right? You know what a "Do Not Resuscitate" is, right? You know that since Riku has a history of mental illness, you as his closest relative can file an override to keep anyone else from filing a DNR, right? If you didn't, you do now. He says he won't need it. It's not that I don't have faith in him or that I don't trust him... it's not that. It's that I don't have faith or trust in anyone else that could get their grimy hands on information regarding his whereabouts.
I think that beyond anything he'll say, he does need you there. But it's gonna be hard on you. I speak from the experience of watching the pain in Xaldin's eyes years ago. You ever see a man like that cry?

[sounds breathless, panting and coughing]
The Old Mansion. Go to the Old Mansion and check in The White Room. Larxene is in there most of the time, but they also hide her in the Pod Room in the basement from time to time. The place will be empty when you get there, but if you go to the Back Alley, which you can access from the Tram Common, there's a small hiding place tucked between two buildings. It just looks like a makeshift shelter, but that's where they'll be if they're not at the Mansion.

I AM going to worry about you, Dickwad! <3
We got to the Mansion. Braig definitely picked up a scent. He keeps losing it so we have to keep retracing our steps, but for a puppy, he's pretty good at this tracking thing.
But hey, by the end of the day, if you don't hear from either of us... assume the worst. I'm not leaving without her.
