In the MLA format one should always have one inch margins around the page, include a a double spaced heading, a title, and indent of five spaces at the beginning of every new paragraph, and you must include a works cited page at the end of the paper.

If this were English class, then yes, we would use MLA format. Seeing as how nothing in your journal reflects your use of the MLA format, you can't really refute my point.
