So, I finally managed to catch that movie Waitress, with Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion (from Firefly), and it got me in a pie-making mood.  So, that, coupled with the fact that Kyle made me read Bone a while back, which makes heavy references to the culinary masterpiece that is quiche, resulted in this recipe.  All the pies in the movie had

I know this comment is, oh, a month and a half overdue, but I saw a preview for it somewhere and I thought it looked good. And Nathan Fillion is always a plus. :) I have a taste for happy indie films--I don't mind that they tend not to have the typical ending, just so long as they don't end with everyone miserable. Another good one is Juno which I just watched tonight.
