So, I've made it. Amy and I have arrived at a rather busy time, it seems. Between a legal hearing about one of DR's neighbors and preparation for a massive visitor arrival, the town's been kinda chaotic. I was definitely overwhelmed my first night here. I'm doing better now.

Things are moving slowly, but surely.

My friends are planning some sort of goodbye party. This planning must be a real pain in the ass for them, given that I don't like going to most of the obvious places, such as amusement parks, bars, or clubs. I don't generally go dancing. So it's official. My last day on the east coast will be August 21st.

Spain today passed legislation making homosexual marriage legal nationwide. They are the third country to institute such legislation, the first two being Netherlands and Belgium.
