I really do like this--I think specifically because of the ending that you have a good chance of getting published, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :)

It hadn't occurred to me until last night, but I should warn you that a lot of publishers consider posting a story publicly on the web as "first publication." Most of the time, what you're trying to sell is First Publication Rights to a story, hence the publisher has the right to publish a work for the general public for the first time. Just something to be aware of.

In truth... If anyone shows even a smidgeon of interest this story is going to be edited into online oblivion, only to return if I retain the net-rights to it :) Enjoy it while you can ^_^
