I can relate with the desire for death thing.

People often hate or fear what they do not understand.

Some SF or fantasy books talk about finding a fearful creature's "true name" as the means to overcome it. I think that's a metaphor for examining one's fears from a stable point of view. Like, "I'm a reasonable person, so why do some of these things make me so afraid?" Maybe they're actually bad things - a friend who has developed a bad drug habit - or maybe they're things that aren't so bad - someone posted a nasty note online or something. Examine each of these things to find out their true name. Are they actually fearful, or is their power rooted in taking advantage of my own fears?

Be safe.
