Real quick b/c I only have a minute, in this universe he found it after everyone left. :-) I wanted it to be Veronica that kept him going. I'll respond more later, I promise! :-)
Hee. I'm back. :D I loved loved loved that Veronica was there for Logan every step of the way. Even though she couldn't be with him publicly, she was still there whenever he needed her. I love that Veronica is proving that she's different from everyone else in Logan's life who has, in one way or another, abandoned him

I think I've commented this once before, when I was drunk, due to my shyness... but I just have to comment on this brialliant chapter!! First off, Wallace... I love your Wallace! “You’re right, Mr. Mars. My mom did teach me respect.” Keith smiled in relief. “And Veronica taught me fear.” The smile vanished. “Fear wins.” “Just say that’s what friends do. You go worry about Marshall, okay? I got your back.” Classic.
And this would be the first story me and my iTunes had a good relationship on, during the part where Logan told Veronica how he always had a doubt about her still being there "Everything" by Lifehouse was playing, it kind of just added this level to it-- in my eyes.
Oh I just can't wait for the next update! (assuming I'm this hyped up again, I'll totally come out of the ball of shyness and comment it again too!)
I love the steady and constant support that Veronica provided during the funeral and the like without being seen by anyone else. It's a testiment to their relationship how well they can be there for each other without having to vocalize anything.
Wallace working with Keith on the Bone case is really amusing, and I love how you have Wallace picking up on the business aspects really quickly.
Aww--I really like this ending to have Logan and Veronica have to interact in public for a reason. I'm excited.
Duncan, somehow, didn't bother me too much in this chapter.
I love the steady and constant support that Veronica provided during the funeral and the like without being seen by anyone else. Interestingly put. It's like he has a pure haven to go to.
I loved the episode in S2 where Wallace solved a mystery on his own. He was totally learned from the master!
Fun things are *definitely* ahead. :-) And Duncan didn't turn out quite as obnoxious as usual, did he? Good for him. :-)
What a great chapter! I actually kind of liked Duncan in this chapter, seeing as how he didn't stick around to spy and eavesdrop on Logan and Veronica.
Wallace and Keith were great. I love that even though Keith tried to get rid of him, he just wouldn't go.
You so win at life for posting this win you did. Distractions from writers block are great!
I so totally agree with you about Duncan and Lilly. I totally love my sisters and can't imagine what I would do if something happened to them. That being said, we know that Duncan and Lilly had to have been close relationship based on what little we saw and I don't think we saw nearly enough about his reaction.
I'm glad you liked Wallace and Keith! They were much fun to write. :-)
You know, I agree that the lighter moment in canon was one of the better ones between Logan and Duncan.
I'm so glad you liked it!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :-)

And Wallace would totally be more afraid of Veronica than he would be of Keith. Hee!
I hope your writing got off to a fresh start! Thanks for commenting in the meantime. :-)
