This is great. I love how you managed to weave Vala's issues from the show into the non-alien world. And who says jack_built doesn't need some angst too? I just love this whole little universe and this is a great addition.

Thanks very much. :) I like angst, but it's such a light fluffy comm. I felt bad bringing Vala's "real" issues into the happy fun world. Ah well. Glad you liked it.

This universe is a lot of fun. Too bad it seems like people have mostly stopped writing it. But then things like this never stay hot for too long...

So. Awesome.

Wow, managing to get Baal in to this universe? Fantastic.

FANTASTIC...and wholly believable.

I really like what you did here -- this is some beautiful background work for Vala, and very IC for her. Nicely done.

Thank you. :) Glad you enjoyed it. I always have fun playing with Vala's backstory--canon or not. *g*

I like some angst in our little AU. Interesting incorporation of Vala's past into a less extra-terrestrial form. And this, I loved: "maybe it wasn't completely irrational since the first time they met was when she stole his car"

Thanks. I just had to put the Prometheus Unbound throwback in there, couldn't help myself. *g*

You had me at Iron Chef (the original Japanese, and of course Cam has the collection)....and I think Baal is even creepier here than anywhere outside of Pegasus B.

The original Japanese Iron Chef was awesome. I watched it when it was on at 11 o'clock at night on Food Network. When it was a mix of subtitles and dubbed even. I like to think Cam shares my indifference to the American remake and my love for the original. He seems like the sort that would. ;)

Baal is pretty much always creepy. He's probably the best villain they had because he was both weirdly charismatic and also more twisted than any of the others.

Thanks for the FB. :)
