Is all the tides flow our way, I'll be spending 5 days on a small island near me with 4 of my closest and oldest friends next month. There's no bridge, you have to get there by boat. We've got a small beach cabin to share, and it'll be nothing but wandering the bay, drinking rum, smoking grass, and enjoying not having a shirt to cover chest, scars

Sounds awesome. You should definitely bring a cutlass and a flintlock. I saw a great replica of a flintlock pistol that was built into a dagger in a shop downtown. Kinda the opposite of a bayonet. Probably not very practical, but it gets some awesome points.

I get all those cheesy knife and sword catalogs and there's one like that in the newest issue. I have had so many toy flintlocks in my life, I can't even start to tell you. But yeah, exactly. Pirate week on the island!
