Next Monday I begin classes to become a Certified Long Term Care Nurse's Aid. Which means that I will be changing old people's diapers until I get a real job. But I figure I have changed so many poopy butts in my life that a few more won't hurt me too bad. So I'm in Chicago now. It's cool. And I mean that literally. The temperature is cool. I read somewhere that the only months in which Chicago has not had a recorded snowfall are July and August. So I'm in the process of applying for a job in Chicago. It's actually a volunteer position through Americorps, but I'd be getting a stipend and all sorts of benefits.
