flwrchild, big_heart_june, lizbird, and greatmtn,

Thank you very, very much. june, your icon is great. If I come up with any more ideas -- actually, we can thank trascendenza for this one, this one is her fault ;) -- I'll make sure I make the time to write them.

Hugs,
Jackie

This was nice. I love how Jack and Ennis describe their love for each other.
You are a very talented poet. I would like to read more, please. : )

Debra, thank you.

I'm not sure how much poetry I'm likely to produce. Writing dialogue seems to just flow from the core of me, not that I don't have to work hard to get it just right. Poetry feels like I'm out of my depth. Jack's "heart" line about Ennis took me 2 days, LOL. I am extremely gratified that you all are so very happy with the result. It encourages me to slog away and trust the outcome, should another idea come to me. I'm delighted y'all can't see my "brushstrokes," so to speak, in the final product.

If at some point I write a story -- so far no story ideas and very little dialogue have come to me -- it's possible the prose might satisfy y'all's taste for poetry from me, simply because I'm such a sentimentalist. Won't see it in dialogue, though, not for these two -- my style is way too flowery and would be totally out of character for them, I think. If I'm mistaken, well, still, I can't see it so I can't write it.

Thanks again, everyone.

Hugs,
Jackie

Thanks, Cameron.

I'm still loving each update on The Neighbor -- Kurt, oooh what a jerk. I hope there will be more of The Artist eventually.

Hugs,
Jackie

This was gripping and beautiful at the same time. I do hope you write more, whether it be poetry or to try your hand at a story.

Jackie, your poem is excellent and moving, and I think you captured the essence of the love and angst of both of them. You certainly do have a talent for poetry as well as prose. I hope you will try a story as well.

Luv.

Thanks, Mom!

(Please don't be hurt -- and please don't peek -- if I rate something "NC-17, or Mom either" at some point. If I ever catch myself wanting to censor myself on something that I don't want to friends-lock.)

Smooches,
J
