Haha, you trolled me for a second! Thank you so, so much, I'm flattered. And yeah, Ian's the main character, in fact I usually think of this as an Ian Hecox fanfic instead of a smosh fanfic. But there will be more of both boys in the future :)
Thank you! I think I know what you're talking about, with all the cleaning Ian's doing. He's sort of erasing himself and his life, and preparing for death, and it's very somber, and sad in a way that can't exactly make you cry, but sort of gives you a bad feeling in your gut. I'm not sure if that's what you mean, but that's the feeling I wanted to convey for him (despite the hidden positive themes and messages).
I don't think you crossed any hidden rule of the internet at all, nor did you make me uncomfortable. I'm very glad your mom got through her cancer, I remember when a close friend of the family had cancer about five years ago, from which she didn't survive, so it's great hearing about others getting through it. And it's fine that sometimes it's hard to explain things, I know that sometimes I convey things very well, and other times I have no idea how to say what I mean
