This was precious! I could definitely picture the nursing home scenes and love that you chose to share that flavor of a dear person's story. It was a very cute way to wrap it up to,taking the cue from Doris!

She really did impact on my life, and I still remember some of her stories. The importance of 'our' stories is highlighted. We are recording lives for our grandchildren, that is if any of them ever want to know of course!!!

I think our stories may be more meaningful after we are no longer around to tell them, sad to say. I like to think it's my little contribution to history at any rate.:)

Thank you, have just read yours, wow an epic of powerful and amazing storytelling...
We are all different, we write on different levels, but incredibly we also connect on those different levels. Vive le difference?
