People we meet in our travels are sometimes very strange have a few that remain in my head.

This was very funny-- and I got such a kick out of those two ladies.

whoosh, he pressed a button and I was flat on my back like a stranded whale!
The line is hilarious, and yet you also have to wonder about the 'gentleman's' idea of wooing techniques.

And the "private detective" line-- that's a new one! Who was he trailing, a hooker? :D

That was then story she told and I found it amazing too!

Some men do not have wooing techniques only attack strategies.....

Haha! So true!

Though in this case, she was unsure how to proceed and he was similarly awkward, so I guess the 'broad hint' did the trick.

After all, she seemed a willing participant in the end!

Love this....Love you playing with the play form (It's sort of my native form...I'm a playwright first any other sort of writer a distant second).

Too bad I never met one (or what the hell, BOTH) of these er...ladies of substance. Might have been a helluva weekend.

Would really like to read and understand more about play format...so guess I need to get myself to the library or the internet? Or do I just get plays and read them? Thanks for reading anyway.

It's easy enough to follow...most modern plays are two acts....the first a little longer.

stage directions are centered and in parenthesis usually...you have it pretty much down already.

I’ve never been able to look at a vacuum cleaner in the same way since!

I almost choked on my lunch when I read that line! Sadly, that sounds like my ex-husband! :P

So much fun - I love the ladies loving their lives, their food and themselves! Cool to see you playing with this form, too - rock on!

Thank you :) And you wouldn't pale, you'd be your own awesome color! I'm thinking of the above piece as a gorgeous, shimmering lavender. (The girl robbers on the lam in Spain were the clear blue of the Mediterranean)
