Over 75% of my friends have gone. They seem to be having an incredible time, from what I can gather...I havn't actually talked to anyone on the phone who is at college yet. My time clock is all messed up. Tuesday after work Wayne (my boss) told all of us that since the fire level moved to extreme, we couldn't work chainsaws in the forest anymore (e.g.,the pilers have no job) so to wait for a firecall. It's supposed to be 107 here. Wayne gave us friday off which sucks because a) it's payday, and that means we all have to wait until monday to get paid, and b) I have absolutely nothing to do for three days. Well, that's not true. so it turns out I DO get poison oak. And it also turns out that it's hard to get rid of, and still itches even after you've tried Calamine Lotion, Cortaid, Antihistimines, ice packs, jumping in a swimming pool, taking a hot shower, and even putting vinegar on the poison oak. At 10:46 last night I was woken up out of bed with a phone call. Looking at it, and realizing that it had a 541 number, I got really excited.
