I hope that one day Rob ends up in hospital. And that the nurses cause him as much mental and physical pain as they are capable of, because "it's a female dominated industry so men should just expect that kind of thing"

Don't quit because of one jerk - at least 10% of every crowd is jerks. As you said, you've got all this emotional and time invested in the game. Avoid the dick, complain about him, and move on...
