I give in. There are several people that I talk to on a regular basis that are all about the news. I will admit...I wish I was more informed. But sadly, I'm probably not what you would call "up on current events". However, I try to read the paper when I can, and cnn.com on occasion. Well...that article does explain several clicking sounds I always get on phone calls. Complete and utter bullshit....thats what this whole wire-tapping business is. Instead of just going, "Oops ya caught me." Bush is now merrily trying to justify the anal-rapage of whatever liberties we were under the impression of having...

i'm the least informed person ever! the most i get is listening to npr on the way to work. or i at least try to look at npr.org at least once through out the day. i love steve inskeep!

Yeah, I try to keep up on stuff, but I tend to let other things get in the way. It makes me feel like such and ignorant citizen though when I talk to people who know way more than me

when i first heard about this i was at a gas station in alabama. my initial reaction was something to the effect of "Bush is fucking everyone in this country and most of us are too stupid, too ignorant, or too lazy to do anything about it." I must have said this in a louder voice than I meant to because several very big and angry looking locals convinced Will and I that we better get the fuck out of the bible belt.
