First off, I did a meme a few days ago that I tagged a few people on, and I never saw anyone do it. Since it was just before Katrina hit, I figure it got lost in the flood of what happened. If you guys didn't do it because you just didn't want to, no worries. I just thought I'd point it out for the people who missed it

That's okay. To be honest, I was having a hard time figuring out some of the logistics (like how to deal with 'shipping preferences, for example), so I'm not horribly disappointed. I was kind of afraid I'd screw it up. This has just left me with the knowledge that I am not one of those people who can organize good fiction contribution efforts. LOL

yeah the shipping preferences is a pain in the ass in group projections to be honest. You simply can't please everyone

I totally can tell entries by the person's style (depending on person). I was telling mallyns a few days ago that the more regularly people post in their journals, the more I get a sense of who they are. Mally is a pretty infrequent with her posts and when she first started im-ing me I knew she was on my flist, but I didn't *know* who she was. Now after co-writing with her for almost 2 years, I can tell you the names of all her family members, her co-workers, her roommate, her cat, etc. Personally, I read my flist both for the fic and for the personal posts. So long answer short, yes.

As far as im, I tend to have my social awkwardness kick in majorly so I generally don't im new people even if I might add people from my flist to my im buddylist. My yahoo one is viciouswishes and my aim one is vwishes.

*facepalms* I can't believe I missed your list. More to the point, I can't believe that I read it, and just didn't recognize it for what it was. Apparently I'm one of those people who has to be spoon-fed things, and the fact that you didn't cut-tag or title it meant that I couldn't understand it was a meme. D'oh! LOL

Aww, you're lucky. I miss those days. I used to have LJ friends I was that close with, but I guess life happened, and we drifted. Now I'm not really close to anyone, but I'm determined to get back to that place where I know the inside jokes. ;)

And, I love "Battle Royale!" It would be interesting to see that style applied to something different. What were you thinking of doing? I had an idea a while back of doing the same type of thing except in a sex/orgy type of way. You know, people deciding who was going to sleep with whom next? But, I never followed through with it!

What were you thinking of doing?*pouts* You stole my idea! LOL I was actually thinking of doing a sexual one, as well. Or maybe something along the lines of Battle Royale with the killing, only it being a Slayer-vs.-Slayer competition, where the Slayer with the highest kill count wins. I have to think on it a little more, because I kind of just decided I wanted to do something like it. I haven't worked out logistics (which, sadly, are not my strong suit :P). I'll figure out something, though. And I'm liking the idea of the Sexual Free-For-All
