I'm guessing...

If it's not in a movie that's less than 6 months old, {or you're not told about it by some retarded internet meme} it doesn't exist.

Happy Guy Fawkes Day.

It's a real day, not like international talk like a scurvy ridden retard day, or vegan day, this one exists.*

*because more than just the internet tells me this... so it is done.

Yeah, but Canadians actually celebrate/acknowledge this day? Americans certainly don't!

It's a British Holiday, Canada was a part of the British Empire. Therefore...

Plus, Americans don't even know when to celebrate Thanksgiving, guiding what to and not celebrate based on what Americans do is folly from the start.

Nonsense!! Thanksgiving in November is perfect because it's a good buffer between Halloween and Xmas. Xmas crap this early in November isn't right!

I didn't say that Christmas stuff showing up now was right... just that Americans are ass backwards when it comes to celebrating Thanksgiving.

At least give a month or so grace period between holidays I mean come ON, Hallowe'en, Thanksgiving, then Christmas? yeesh... no wonder most Americans are hefty... that's alot of eatin' all in a 3 month period.

I certainly didn't know anything about Guy Fawkes before I started hanging around on the scurvy ridden Internet :)

Most people didn't know about it until V for Vendetta came out.

This is very true :) I remember hearing about it via some strange newsgroup when someone referenced it while complaining about a long and ugly signature file :)

I did fireworks for Guy Fawkes Night in Milton Keynes, England in 2000...it's definitely a day they celebrate over there.

Nothing like spending an entire day in 40 degree weather and drizzle doing manual labor...
