Okay, I'm standing on a precipice. Help me take the leap.

Give me your best reasons for me buying and playing WoW.

I'm on the edge, people. Gimme a push.

mmorpg, wow

Don't listen to these ones. Do it. I play WoW...not that often, but that's cause I'm a busy man. It's a really great game.

A) you get to play with mikor.
B) you get to meet lots of cool funny people.
C) if you roll a druid you can shapeshift... and eventually even FLY!
D) even wedahr is considering it!!!

but.... I would suggest getting the expansion. I know lil Marly would love that best.

not intentional!!
I put down those reasons... then I was like 'I need a really good reason to make her join wow!'

and then I remembered wedahr wants to play!

Yeah, it's true that I am also considering picking up WoW... But I'm really hesitant because I feel I might be susceptible to a really serious WoW addiction. You know those stories of Asian people falling off their chairs because of starvation and dehydration? I'd probably be the first Dutch case... As long as you think you'll be capable of spending your free time on other stuff as well I don't see why you shouldn't get it though.

Yeah I'm just worried about that because I do have a tendancy to get addicted to games... But my good friend Shane plays it and he limits his time by playing it on his laptop. When he starts the game, he unplugs his laptop from the charger and when the battery gets too low, he is forced to stop.

Well, now, see, that sounds pretty clever. But I'm pretty sure that I'd eventually think something along the lines of 'bugger it' and plug the damn thing in again.

Anyway, as I understand it you're about to start university, right? Maybe you should see how that goes first; see how much free time you end up having and stuff and then decide whether you have time for an addiction or not.

what I do is during the week I focus on simple quests and/or profession leveling - yes you heard me we get professions in the game. my main is a tailor/enchanter :D

and then on the weekends I'll do the stuff that takes a long time.... like dungeons or what not.
