The Beowulf movie looks horrendous. I can't understand why someone would go through all the trouble of animating something computer-wise to make it look oooo-ahhh-so-amazingly-realistic. Why imitate real people when we have plenty of them laying around?

I was walking back with Sonya on Friday night at about 9:45 and as we approached my apartment saw 2 guys trying to steal my motorcycle. I heard on NPR this morning that 50% of people surveyed think the expansion of SCHIP - the health care program for impoverished children that Bush vetoed - would lead to a universal government run, socialized medicine system. 50% of people who think this, however, also think this would be a good thing.
