Pseudonyms that aren't

Okay, here's a poll for you guys!  Please, everyone, respond.  I don't care if you don't even know me.

Would you be more likely to buy a book, and remember the name of, someone named:
Michael Forest
or
Michael-Forest Meservy?

I'm currently deciding on what name to use for publication.

Jade Knight. You all think it's such a joke, but what if it were actually your name?

Jade Knight would be good if you're writing fantasy.

Michael Forest for the other two options, though. Forest is a pretty easily rememberable name. Michael, though, might be considered a bit overdone/overused. (Michael Crichton, anyone?)

Michael was the most popular boy's name in America for some 10 years running.

Would it be "Michael-Forest Meservy" or "Michael Forest-Meservy?" I vote more for the latter of those two, but Michael Forest above those.

Definitely not Michael Forest-Meservy.

I'm Michael-Forest.

Oh--I figured Forest was a middle name. Well, I still prefer Michael Forest.

Just Michael Forest is easier to remember. Then again, if there exist even somewhat famous people with the same name (since you said that there is an actor with the same name), I'd go with Michael-Forest Meservy to avoid confusion.

You think you like Michael-Forest Meservy better. But why not use your real name, eh? LSF, there's a name with a ring to it....
