yeah i'm sorry it came off as snobby, it was meant to be more matter-of-fact, because preppiness and being preppy isn't something i obsess over unless i'm surrounded by hostility towards it. i'm also sorry that i made it seem like preppiness was all i've ever known...it's definitely the foundation of my life, but not my entire identity...it might be where i shop and how i dress but it's only part of how i act, what i think, and what i like.
