Breast implants, anti-depressants, anti-biotics, global warming, endangered species, and pigeons--I can't believe you rolled all those topics into one entry with a very nice unity of theme. You need a column.

Anthropocentrism (a word I used just yesterday in class!) is an aspect of modern arrogance that rarely distinguishes between one creed or class among those who live in the first world. You have a point, but many would call the conclusions which could be made from your contemplations "socially irresponsible."
