It was cool here, too cool to go swimming. :(

I sincerely hope you're still around in 2010...LJ wouldn't be the same without you. :S Of course you'll be Dr. Kel by then so you probably won't have time for us common folk. *wink like woah*

I really should get more active in the various causes I claim to support...what is the name of that mailing list you joined?? (Hee)

And if you're going to start reading more we should start trading book recommendations. I have a whole list of great books I like to pimp out to interested parties. ;)

Ohh yes we should. I'm going to join the library here as soon as I figure out where it is, so I'd love to swap book recommendations.

I joined at abortionrights.org.uk. There were tons more of sites like those for the US too, and I was tempted to join one of those as well because heaven knows, Pro Choice over there needs a ton of support.

I think I'd recommend the book before the movie (although you should definitely see that too, because it's a lovely film). The book is so full of beautiful descriptions and it's just so interesting, I guess because even though it's not fact as such, it is based very much on facts.

I just thought about where I would be in 2010. I will probably be married, possibly with a child. EEEEEK!

It was so hot here last night too, barely got any sleep at all and Joe slept with the duvet on???

Blimey, with a duvet? I pulled mine on about 4am I think, got a bit nippy but I had my window right open.

Eeeeeeek!

It was neat, I watched the movie, and I liked it and decided I wanted to read the book. So I did, and then once I finished I went back and re-watched the movie. And I was amazed how much more I got out of the movie the second time. It was great :)
