Sir Sterling went to Rainbow Bridge today.

I felt I should at least let everyone know. I found out when I went to visit him at the shelter. They told me he had been euthanized at 7:00 am this morning due to his injuries.

I am really not ready to discuss the details right now, but when I am, I will post here again.

I called the shelter today and am going to go see him in about an hour. I'll visit with him and take photos if I can. This shelter is a pretty nice animal control facility and they even have their own animal hospital ( Read more... )

I contacted the animal hospital again today and they said that animal control came to pick him up at 12:10pm. They also told me that they labeled him as seal-point Himalayan mix. I told you he was a gorgeous cat ( Read more... )

The animal hospital has labeled his prognosis as "guarded", which basically means he has a 50/50 chance of surviving. :cry ( Read more... )

I called the emergency animal hospital back today. Apparently, the cat is stable, but has a head injury and has rattled breathing (which might mean internal bleeding). The emergency vet tech on staff gave the cat some morphine and cleaned him (yes, him) up. He is resting ( Read more... )
