Birthday trapping

Every year I go trapping on my birthday...it's the first day of trapping season. I took my apprentice, Tanya and her husband, Jimmy out today. We caught two birds. The first was a big mature female. i dont know why i picked LJ to try to find a falconer so i could shadow them, but you have the only site out of 20 where there is any relevant information about falconry. im just wondering if you have any information about falconers in southern PA or in northern MD. my email is gyrs_in_my_mew@yahoo.com if you ever get this post, please get back to me, thanks!

Hi Echo,
Actually, i do know a few folks in Southern PA... including myself in about three weeks. I'll be moving to Uniontown PA. which is about 50 miles South of Pittsburgh. Another faloner buddy of mine and I are moving up on the first of March to start a breeding operation there. So, if you're looking to go hunting with some falconers or are interested in getting started I can point you in the right direction. Alan

Hello,

I, too, was looking up LJ's for falonry information. Came across yours, and saw your post mentioning DeKalb and P'tree Industrial. I live in Duluth, GA, and was wondering how I would begin to 'get into' falconry.

Thank you!
