So it's my 29th birthday...I tend not to make a big deal about birthdays. I haven't had a drink in over ten years now so a big party is mostly a waste of money and an excercise in frustration. Friday morning I walked into my mews to put the birds out to weather as I do every day. My Gyr Prairie hybrid tiercel killed and ate the head of my new Sakret. I finally figured out how to use my DVD player. I've had it hooked up for about five months now, but never got it working... I'm not really incompetant, more apathetic. So it's been a god couple of weeks, more or less. The two new birds, that I flew back from Seattle, both fed off the glove properly yesterday. The female is still real batey but recovers nicely. So I've been back a week now. The trip was great. Victoria, B.C. is beautiful. Oddly enough, I went to a fairly decent reggae show in market square. I saw a pod of whales on the fairy. So last night, I didn't go out. I fell asleep and slept fairly well, which is odd, but nice.
