Last week I got a promotion! I am now a Senior Production Editor. Included raise, so I'm doubly happy. Yippee!

She's fine. Got out of surgery a-OK. She'll be at the vet's for two more days, then I can bring her to Melissa's. (I have to travel to be with family, was able to postpone trip until Saturday.)

She is having abdominal surgery today. Swallowed some sort of string and it's caught inside her. Not sure to what extent, won't know until after. But the assistant at the vet's says that the vet has done this surgery many times and the prognosis is good.
