I was looking forward to a nice peaceful evening at home. Just organizing my files, watching tv, and getting my laundry done. So I went down to get my two loads out of the dryers. As I sat in my manager's cube today I realized why I have been dreading coming into work lately. I found out that I got the job with the IRS only two days after being offered my job here at Northwestern. I have officially let go of the cliff and continue to fall a little more each day. I am not afraid either, well, maybe a little. But it isn't going to hold me back. I have the most amazing woman in my life and I will not allow my fears and hurt from the past hold me back. I am going to give it everything I have. She deserves to have me fully.

So I was at Katie's this morning and my phone rang. Almost did not answer it because it was an unavailable number, but I decided to see who it was. It was the IRS calling to offer me a job!!! I am feeling good on this late Sunday night. This morning I went and met up with Noreen and Karen and we completed our last Module for audit. Then I went to campus and meet up with my Ethics group, we worked on the group paper and I finished-ish my portion of it.
