Thank god it's Friday! I am completely exhausted.

Practicum: I tried a jigsaw activity today. I got further with my ABlk class than I did with the CBlk class, but that's okay. Both classes will finish on Monday. I had an evaluation today by my faculty advisor. It was in my Law 12 class. It didn't go as well as I hoped it would, as there were some glitches. But it didn't go too bad. I was pretty nervous before the class, but the students were pretty supportive. Of course, I'm also much more comfortable around them now and know their names, so it helps ( Read more... )

Today was my first day incorporating videos into my lesson. So far, it's not too bad. John, one of the other student teachers, had Series 3 of Canada: A People's History on DVD, so that definately helped with cuing things up. So I finished Chapter 1 today for my Socials class. Introduced the themes chart, leading to more groans from my students for needing to do more charts. I merely chuckled.
