To perform or NOT to perform...

THAT is the question...  I *always* WANT to perform at conventions but...I always feel bad.  I don't perform regularly anymore so why should *I* get a spot in the "All-Star Show" and not some other up and comer?  And now that there's this thing circulating the globe of a ray that is blu...do *I* have any place taking a moment of glory from someone

I always want to perform at cons too as I hardly perform at the show these days and just because I want to. But I have no time or creativity to come up with a video! It was easier in the old days. I'm just not with these new fangled cons and there videos! LOL! Though when I'm there I will feel bad that I'm not up on stage. I kind of think I'm getting too old these days anyway! Not sure the yungin want to see an old lady up there at a con! Ehhh whatever! Anyway you on the other hand should do it! You are too young and hot to feel like me! You can still bring it! I say if you have the time to do a video! Go for it!

I'm a big fan of a mixture of experience and fresh faces. But then you know that.

I'll be surprised if I ever apply to perform at a con that requires video auditioning; the hassle factor is fairly high.

If you don't have a friend with a digital video camera, or don't want the hassle of videoing, I recommend using a free program that turns pictures into a video slideshow. You can even add text. If you have Windows, you can use Windows Live Movie Maker: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker?os=other

Macs have iMovie :)

Yup Lem...I are of the old skool...I have shoes older than many of the kids performing these days...you know, the white ones you gave me waaaaaay back in the day?! (But I AM phuQing HOT on the Blu-Ray!!!) Oh, and never forget that Curtis will ALWAYS be WAAAAAY older than you or I!!!!!!

I want to perform also because the con committee will never admit it, but this 4711 thing is REALLY just a big birthday party for ME! It's a landmark birthday year (27) AND they are throwing it 3 weeks before my birthday...SURPRISE!!!! JUST the way LizBeaux likes it!!!

I'm just stuck with the video prob...I feel pretentious editing bits of Blu-Ray with the Wiltern show...but sadly, that's kinda all the footage I have! Not sure I'll have time to shoot something new...

It's not like there aren't other opportunities for others. If part of the joy of convention for you is to perform in it, then by all means do so.
