Jottify is a lovely, if a quiet site. I've put no less than 18 chapters up there. - For any old slashers listening (waves), I had to get to where we have a not-so-subtle hint that Jamuqa is about to jump Temujin's bones. Similarly: by now I needn't comment on the Secret History - the reader can do that, the reader is enough acquainted. Qorchi's dream is the most Freudian possible. It's about Temujin's sex life. Last chapter, and we strike a balance between the two styles, early and late, or simpler and complex. Temujin's psychology is shaping up, this chapter - full of turmoil for him - and yet the first scene was Hoelun's pov, and though the rest is through Temujin's eyes, there is no privy inner-thought.  I am mad, I don't protest I'm not, but I thought I ought to explain, when I say we (which I see I do a lot) that's me and Temujin and Jamuqa and the gang, that's the Mongol gestalt.

To re-write Book One hasn't been without loss, though the loss is infinitely outweighed by gain (I do sincerely believe). The only thing I miss is a certain naïve style.
