Walk/run intervals in the park with sweetie. It was tough! The intervals made my legs go, "(O_O)?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" and they stopped wanting to pick up after while even though I had energy and will. (o_o) But next time, I rest assured that it will be easier.  I just had to share this -- on lunch I was talking to lil' Renee (so called because if she's 5'0" I'd be surprised), my 58-year-old student. She said,

"When will you be teaching in a gym???? （〇Д〇；；；）" <--- and yes she made that face

Found out that ACE just updated their Group Fitness Instructor manual from the one that I have been studying. (~_~;;;;) However, I don’t think the changes will be enough to cause me to fail if I know my information from the book I have. They also offer two diagnostic practice exams online for this certification ($30 each). I should probably study ( Read more... )

Found out that getting my PT cert after the GFI cert will give me CECs towards maintaining my GFI cert. There is also an ACE fitness store of course, I can get business cards there should I feel inclined after I get my certs ( Read more... )
