in az they passed a prop to ammend the state constitution for marriage being between a man and a woman.
so not entirely great.

yeah, they did the same thing in california and florida.
BUT.In California, the ACLU has already filed several suits challenging the validity of the propositions in the first place. And the supreme court in california has already shown how liberal it is...so it's likely to be overthrown again.

I think the whole world has watched this happen - and here in UK my friends and colleagues seemed to feel the elation too, and let's hope this restores faith that was damaged by Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush...
