My uncle is a catholic priest in Watts county in LA, one of the roughest parts. PBS made a short doc about him, focusing on how he bridges gaps between ethicities in an increasingly mixed neighborhood. My uncle has a doc about him. That's friggin cool.

Does anyone remeber this place? It was right on Falconer in the plaza with the pharmacy and convenience store. They had the best burgers in the fucking world. This old greek guy named Phil ran it and he was the nicest dude ever. I'd walk in, he'd take one look at me, and he'd already know what I wanted. I miss this place. I heard horrific screeching noises last night at around 11 pm, so I went outside to see what was going on. There was a guy from my street with a flashlight looking at something.
