I certainly wouldn't think less of you... If you want to take the time to focus on yourself do it. You have served your country and deserve time for yourself too.

I think it's really admirable that you have made this much of an effort to help out. I wouldn't think any less of you, nor should you, if you decide not to go.

James I think it's a really tough moral decision you have to make here, and kudos to you for trying to think it through to a decision you are comfortable with.

FWIW, I think that you would be serving the greater good by defending the people who are trying to help save New Orleans while they're getting shot at by short-sighted, desperate commandos, and you have skills few people have to assist in this situation. In my opinion you should be able to go down there fully armed with your head held high, knowing that you are serving your country and helping people in desperate need. But no one should go down there who isn't wholly comfortable with the situation and their role in it.

I certainly won't think any less of you whichever decision you make. Good luck.

for some reason, i don't think ANY would think less of you. That person would be a fool and would have to be someone who has contributed WAY more than you have to humanity. I doubt many exist like that.....this makes you well....i don't know...

Maybe in some of my earlier comments I've made it seem as if I think you should go. In reality, James, I wouldn't think any less of you if you decided to stay and go to school. You've done so much for others, and sometimes, we have to take care of ourselves, too.

I am keeping you ever in my prayers.
