all that i really know about ayn rand is what other have told me, so, all i know could be false. I've been told that a prevailing ideal in her books can be summed up like this: Noone is going to take care of you, so take care of yourself, and since noone is going to take care of you, it is not necessary to take care of them.
This school of thought, I feel, is visceral in it's complete and utter selfishness. If Ayn Rand does feel this way, then I don't like her ideology. If she doesn't, then I should pick up some of her stuff.
