Holy crap, did we have a busy weekend!

On friday night, we went down to Waseca for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Between Terra and myself, we contributed about $400. The grand total of the event was over 100,000 dollars, which is absolutely great. If you've never been to an event like this, it is quite moving. They light all these ( Read more... )

Taco-in-a-bag= classy

Way to fundraise! How far is the walk? (Or does "relay" mean run?)

The walk is as far as you want it to be. What you do is you sign up to be on a team, and you just try to make sure that at least one member from your team is walking on the track at all times. The fundraising isn't tied to how far you walk or anything. The walking is basically just to show support for victims of cancer.

Holy crap, I had one of those cheese cake/chocolate chip cookie things a couple weeks ago. It was so damn good!!! I want more. I'm lazy.

I'm glad the relay went well. It's nice to see people being charitable.

Well, sometimes a "real" taco can get kind of messy. With taco in a bag, everything just falls back into the bag and you scoop it up again. Yeah, that really does sound nasty now that I think about it.
