i guess i forgot to mention that when i make dumplings i freeze them. They don't store easily if they're not frozen--the dough is soft and the dumplings would stick together unless each one is kept separate.

yeah, us russkies have the same thing, only we go to the store for them and eat the cooked bits with vinegar.
