i enrolled in classes today, opting to take 18 units. I had a talk with a math department counselor today, i'll have to rewrite my academic plan to reflect my taking fewer units than I had anticipated. I'll be at UCI up until next fall quarter, maybe winter. This workload is really draining my spirits. I think that 26 unit quarter was a little ( Read more... )

Bro, you have plenty of time to decide for grad school, not to mention more time now to study for the GRE and decide just what you want to do.

Maybe come visit me at some point and hang out for a day, perhaps coming to a grad event?

oo i like the sound of that. next quarter should leave me with a much more open schedule. I think mid to late January'll be best, I'll be jetlagged in early Jan.

I know, I just feel behind already, and surviving one of these burnouts usually gives one a tougher skin, as I'm sure you'll have. Plus, you did pretty damn well on your GREs on top of your burnout.
